Originally established in 2000 as an architectural practice exclusively, today JBA Construct provides full scope of architectural services as well as, the design and making of bespoke furniture and objects. The majority of our projects are located in Sydney ranging in value from $700,000 to $8 million.

Our projects have received architectural and industry awards and featured in publications and TV programs. The practice was short listed Bar of the Year, Australia New Zealand Eat Drink Design Awards 2014 for A Chip off the Old Block Bar (Chippendale) and received the Archicentre State Managers Award in 2000, and Archicentre Renovation of the Year in 2009. The practice has also contributed regularly to the Grand Designs Expo and HIA Home Show.

Our team comprises professionals with architectural and trades qualifications. Jason Blake, is the director, nominated architect and licensed supervisor for JBA Construct. He graduated from the University of Newcastle in 1995 with a Bachelor of Architecture (Hons) and worked in large and small architectural practices across Sydney. Jason has also earned a Bachelor of Applied Science from University of Newcastle and graduated with Certificate III in Building & Construction in 2014.
