A system of mobile shelters that provide additional accommodation for ‘rough sleepers’ in a manner that balances immediate need with funding provision and location.

the model for the mobile shelters is a combination of caravan & ‘Pod’ hotel. the mobile nature of the shelters would allow a facility to be brought to the inner areas of the city where need is greatest and existing shelters exist each evening. the following morning, the mobile shelter could be taken by truck to a storage area in a less dense part of the city, returning again that evening as required. each resident will be provided with a private bed and storage locker for personal effects, with access to showers and toilets within each facility.
